for those of you who are wondering what is like to be in college, i will give the 411. 

SWAT (students welcome and transition Week) Fun the freshman class is broken down into 5 group or five colors.  I was on the Yellow team.  YELLOW Y_E_L_L_O_W !!!!!!!! cut the cheese!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway . the people here are just fun so much fun.  this is what we did

Monday.... 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM	REGISTRATION AND MOVE-IN
3:00 PM - 3:45 PM	WELCOME SESSION
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM	PARENT MEETING / RECEPTION
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM	SMALL GROUP TIME I
4:45 PM - 6:00 PM	DINNER
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM	SWAT GROUP PICTURE
7:00 PM - 7:10 PM	GROUP RALLY
7:10 PM - 7:30 PM	PRAISE AND WORSHIP (awsoem, these worship services are different, but they are kool) praise the lord with a new songs...right
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM	GENERAL SESSION I
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM	SMALL GROUP TIME II
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM	BLOCK PARTY (FUN)  food, music, food, people, food, electric bull, food

Friday.... For those of you who went on the missions trip.  This is an exact replica of the trip.  Servant hood, 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM	BREAKFAST

Our Service project was going to a church in Oak Cliff, Helping out around the facility.  We worked outside, planted and clead up the whole front entrance.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM	RECLIFE TOURNAMENT

Sundya was amazing....spiritually sound, Spiritually refreshing, just fantastic.  Potter's House that morning the praise and worship in the evening   6:00 PM - 7:30 PM	GLOWING HEART SERVICE

The potter house was just amazing.  TD jakes is hilarious, at the same time anointed, at the same time bold and effective.  I realized that his church is not all black...majority. but not all.  It was so Kool... it was his wife's Birthday and the gave a salute to her.  And there were so many famous people involed... it was awsome.  after waitng to get out the parking lot for 30 min, then went to lunch the fam(they came down to see me) and Jesus.  then slept and went to the Glowing Heart concert. Which is the praise and worship band for DBU.  I love it. its so refreshing to be in a new atmosphere with hundreds of people worshipping Christ in many different ways.  i love it.  Now check this out.

Most colleges in the USA that are "christian" may or may not truely live out Christian doctrine throughout the campus...dbu does.  In the Bible Christ Jesus Loved his disciples so much that he humbled an summited himself unto them before he was crusified.  Show that he was not just their leader but a friend, a servant, a leader.  He wash their feet to hanor them, a new form of leadership. one which the leader served his followers..... well this is what DAllas Baptist Has done for us as students.  They've washed our feet. Put us at a high stool and the leaders are truly there to serve us and be there for us. 

When i say washed our feet....i'm not joking. literally washed our feet.  It was the most nastiest, most dirty, most humbling expeirence i have every had.  I Respect Dallas Babitst University so much. they truly are Christ centered and it Shows....
